David George

David George is a science educator and naturalist based in Durham. He is the head of the NCBP's education/outreach committee, and a co-author of the Moths of NC site. David is active in a range of education and public outreach efforts through his work at the Museum of Life and Science and other organizations. He is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and NC State University, with degrees in Media Production and Science Education. David's research focuses on larval life histories and host plant relationships, and he has created an extensive host plant database which has been integrated into the Moths of NC site.
